Biografie

Johannes Wendl is a research associate and PhD student at the Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Informatics in Medicine. Within the Medical Data Integration Centre (MeDIC) at the University Hospital rechts der Isar he is responsible for the Data Transfer Unit. There he is the contact person for researchers interested in data access and coordinates the internal processes for data delivery.

Before joining AIIM, he studied socioeconomics and public health and worked on the analysis of health insurance data at the Institute for General Practice and Health Services Research at the Technical University of Munich. His research interests include the opportunities and challenges of secondary data analysis and medication adherence.
