Dr.-Ing. habil. Shahin Amiriparian

Shahin Amiriparian is a part-time researcher at the Chair of Health Informatics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and a Research Group Leader at Huawei’s Amsterdam Research Center. He received his doctoral degree with highest honors (summa cum laude) from TUM in 2019 and completed his habilitation (a postdoctoral qualification at associate-professor level) in October 2025. His research focuses on multimodal and affective artificial intelligence, with particular emphasis on representation and foundation learning for audio, speech, vision, and digital-health applications.
