Ali Ozan Memetoglu

Ali Ozan Memetoglu is a doctoral researcher at the Chair of Health Informatics, School of Computation, Information and Technology of the Technical University of Munich. He works on speech emotion recognition and computational paralinguistics, with a focus on interpretability, including concept bottleneck models. He is currently starting work on audio large language models, looking at how they handle paralinguistic cues and how reliable their reasoning and explanations are. Before joining TUM he worked as a machine learning engineer in industry on forecasting, computer vision, and retrieval-augmented systems.
